Having buggered up my hat for the second time, I have now managed to unpick 2 cables and am well on my way to getting it fixed! The yarn is very splitty though, which doesn't make things any easier.

I don't know whether to be proud I fixed things, or cross I fouled it up, twice ...

A while ago I entered a competition in Cross Stitcher magazine to win a selection of cross stitch kits. So long ago I had almost forgotten about it.

Well they turned up on Thursday! I won! I was so surprised :)



I only really entered because I have wanted Woodland Enchantress since I first saw it in the Dimensions Previews. The other kits aren't so much to my taste.

Well done you! Be pleased for fixing what you cocked up - it means that 1) you realised what you had done wrong 2) you accepted that you had done it wrong and 3) you fixed it without completely frogging it all up or making it worse :D

And also congratulations on the prize :D Woodland Enchantress is lovely and will look stunning, but I have to say those dragonflies are cute too.
