The blanket is done!

I took this home this weekend, so that mum could sort me out again, and then she knitted the last dozen or so rows for me while I made the hood. I even managed to get it sewn on.
I made it out of Boyes' Baby Double Knitting in lilac, and it took just less than 3 balls. For an acrylic this is a really nice yarn, quite soft to work with and washes well (after being carted around for 6 months or so, I thought I had better wash it before sending it).
I am really glad this is done, as I was getting so sick of it. I think it has come out well though, without too many mistakes. I wasn't impressed with the pattern though, 4 mistakes in a pattern for a square and a triangle.
Speaking of sqaure, it ended up being more rectangular, but now way was I going to knit any more of this:

But the hood does work:

and now it is all ready to be posted:
