40: Hallowe'en Party Agatha Christie [Kindle]
A quick seasonal read. Good mystery and characters, nice twists.
41: Police at the Funeral Margery Allingham
This month's read for the Shedunnit book group I have joined. I like this club as it is online so there is less pressure to finish the book as you can join the discussion at any time.
I enjoyed this book very much - I had never read a Campion mystery before, and Iiked the plot and setting of this very much. The characters were very good, and there were some interesting hints about Campion's background.
42: Zennor in Darkness Helen Dunmore
This month's regular book club choice. Quite enjoyable but I think it would have worked as well as a family saga without the added DH Lawrence - I didn't think he added that much to the story. I did like the other characters, and especially that the focus was on life despite the war , which is not a perspective you often get in stories set at this time.
43: Revenger Rory Clements [Kindle]
Really good plot of twists and turns! I enjoyed the character development from the last book , and the way it plays into the political backdrop.
