Holiday crafting post:

A bit late, but I needed to finish something before I posted this:

Firstly, I took some knitting on holiday - I made good progress on the scarf I am making from the lovely yarn lynncc  gave me:



I didn't make such good progress with the sock from the lovely yarn phonemonkey  gave me:



I am going to have to start this again on smaller needles, and as I have a lot on, they may go on the back burner for a while

I also went to while I was in the area - and bought a sizeable amount of yarn!

1: I finally found some dark green yarn to make a hat I have wanted to make for a while - Lamb's Pride Bulky



2: We bought some purple yarn for me to make a hat, scarf and mittens set for Mum for Christmas (so much for the 'neutral' colour she was planning on having!)  - more Lamb's Pride, worsted this time.



3: I bought myself more sock yarn:



Now, the reason for the delay in this post, was making a thank you card for our hosts, which I finished last night:



(I had trouble getting more gold thread)
