Knaresborough Castle

pandopMum and I went to Knaresborough today, and amongst other things had a wander round the castle. It is ruins, so you can't go in, but it was nice to be outside anyway
This sign amused me:
and it is being used that way, there is a crown bowling green in the grounds, and a lot of people were sitting tin the gardens
There was a fantastic view of the viaduct over the River Nidd from the castle grounds:
