Underworld
I had forgotten how much I liked this. The costumes, the setting, the mood, the technology, the politicking, everything is just so good. I like Kate Beckinsale in this, and adore Bill Nighy - and esepecially his coat :D He got the coolest death scene too.
Underworld: Evolution
I loved the armour and the fight scences were generally good. I liked the plot, and the history was decent. Loved the backstabbing ;) For an immortal, the father was killed a little too easily, I felt. I like the idea of blood memories. At moments Marcus reminded me of Kronos (for the Highlander fans out there). Left plenty of scope for more films too.
Underworld: Rise of the Lycans
I really liked the psuedo-medieval setting, and the contrast in costumes between the vampires and the humans. I did not like the clubbing gear vampires though - I was quite pleased they copped it ;) Bill Nighy was excellent, and Lucian's character was also well developed. Sonya was rather annoying, and that outfit was clearly designed by someone who has never worn mail or a corset! Again the plot and the politics were excellent, and there is scope for more films.
