1: Where do you read?
Anywhere I have a book and sufficient light :) I read a lot on public transport at the moment, and sometimes it feels that I read even more while waiting for said public transport ...
2: When do you read?
When I can - sadly working in a library doesn't mean you get to read all day ...
3: Are you a skipper or a plodder?
Mostly a plodder. I am getting better at giving up on things that are dreadful though - I won't waste time that could be spent reading something good.
4: Do you cheat? (ie look at the end before you get there)
Generally not.
5: Single or multiple reader? (one book or many books at once)
Multiple mostly. Sometimes I get down to one book, but I don't let that state of affairs last very long.
6: What books do you remember from when you were a child?
I have a lot of fond memories of endless Blyton stories, but going even earlier I have a sure and certain memory of some Poddington Peas
7: What have you always wanted to read, but never have?
I really can't think of anything off hand
8: What else do you do while you are reading?
Travel. Wait for buses. I read on the loo (sorry if that is TMI). Watch TV. Listen to music.
9: Do you feel guilty about reading?
Yeah, quite often there are other things I should be doing.
10: Do you reread books?
Oh yes. Probably about 1/3-1/2 my reading in a given year is rereads.
11: Who do you talk to about reading?
Anyone and everyone. Working in a library helps with that. I also bore people on my flist every month and talk on another forum
12: How do you discover new authors?
Browsing - both in book shops and libraries. Recommendations. Reviews. Adverts.
