I've been wearing gloves for last two weeks.

Considering taking hi vis jacket from the car for the really dark bits of the walk.

I'm already doing the woolly thing. As far as I'm concerned, this IS winter. And I'm trying to convince myself that it won't get worse. Clearly, four years plus in Cambridge haven't dampened my eternal hope:)

LOL I know. I'm still on the lookout for woolly slippers.. the type that look like yeti boots, rather than just being cute and fluffy. I know they're not particularly pretty, but my ankle bones hurt. I'm so not looking forward to late Nov/December. Hopefully, this year I'll escape the snow once again by going home. Although I admit, me trying to walk in the snow provides other people with amusement.

I am after some slipper boots this year too. Will knit some for next year, but don't have time this year.

Sainsbury had suitably fluffy looking boots, though last time I tried to buy a pair, they were all size 8 and up (I'm a 4-4 1/2), but hopefully they'll get more in stock. I just figured that with my record of uhhh elegance, I really shouldn't wear a slipper too big.
