Seeing as I am having a day out in York with Mum, I thought I had better post the pictures I took in Oxford on Sunday ...
We were in Oxford for a wedding, but we had time on the Sunday for a bit of sightseeing too.
But first, I must tell you I got upgraded (for what I think is the first time). The original room the hotel gave us had someone elses things in it, so we were reassgine. A sleigh bed and plasma tv reassignment - which was much better than our original room:

But, on to Oxford
We took advantage of being close to the route of the sightseeing bus, and took a ride on that on Sunday morning. The tour was good, at first we just had the recorded tour, but we had a 'live guide' get on part way round the tour. As it was Sunday morning the bus didn't get stuck in traffic very much, so I didn't get many photos with my slow camera.
I did manage this one of Worcester College:

We had time for a wander as well, so I was able to take some more photos:
Bridge-thingy:

Radcliffe Camera:

College (taken through the gates on the Broad):

(Next step, find out what things are and write them down)
We liked Oxford, and the hotel, very much, and are thinking of another weekend there sometime. We saw a walking tour advertised that sounded interesting (having done the bus tour) and I would also like to see in some of the College grounds, most of which didn't open for the day until after my train had left. There are a few things I saw on the BDO/with Nikki that I would like to show Bryn too, and of course there is the Ashmolean ...
