Birthday haul

pandopI took the day off work today and met Mum in York for a birthday day out.
Well before I even went I had yarn - my lovely friend Lynn bought me some Posh Yarn for my birthday:
But I didn't let that stop me from going to buy more yarn, from the fantastic Sheepish. I got some more sock yarn.
We also made a trip to the fantastic Duttons for Buttons, where I got the buttons for the chunky hoodie I am knitting.
On the way back to the station I noticed that York in springtime was doing what it does best - daffodilling the castle walls:
But I didn't let that stop me from going to buy more yarn, from the fantastic Sheepish. I got some more sock yarn.
