55: Three Ghost Stories Charles Dickens (Kindle)
Started these on the bus on the way home as a halloween read, and quite enjoyed them. Not overly spooky though.
56: The Savage Garden Mark Mills
Have had this on my list for a while, as I loved his The Whaleboat House, and this is just as good, if not better. Loved the characters, the twists and turns of the plot and how the setting worked with it all.
57: Red Bones Ann Cleeves (Kindle)
This is the first of the Shetland series that I have read, even though it is the third one. I must now go and get the others. I was looking forward to this as I liked the tv adaptations, and I wasn't disappointed. Again I loved both the characters and the setting. Great mystery too.
58 & 59: Sidney Chambers and the Shadows of Death and Sidney Chambers and the Perils of the Night James Runcie (Kindle)
Lumping these together as they are books 1&2 of the Granchester series. Picked these up cheap for the Kindle as a result of them being adapted for ITV. Books and adaptations both good, and I am looking forward to getting the next one in the series - I am even going to spend 'proper' money on it.
