21: Sovereign Ladies: the six reigning Queens of England Maureen Waller
A very apt month in which to finish this. I found the sections on Mary II and Anne most interesting, as they were the two I knew least about. However, when dealing with the current Queen it seemed much more than 6 years old, and also seemed very partisan.
22: Before they are hanged Joe Abercrombie
Really good, I am enjoying this series. The world and the characters are excellent - and I really like that they aren't simple heroes and villains.
23: The advocate Marcello Fois
This was odd. Not sure I liked either the style of the narrative or the characters. Merifully short.
24: The last arguement of Kings Joe Abercrombie
Great ending to the trilogy, although there is plenty of scope for more stories. I was wrong about some of things I suspected, and I was very pleased by that, I don't like too obvious plot shadowing.
25: World textiles: a sourcebook Diane Waller and Shelagh Weir
Absolutely gorgeous book - positively lush. Essays on a variety of textile styles, and plenty of colour illustration. I would have preferred the examples to follow the essay, but that is the only fault I can find with this. Must get my own copy of this.
26:Trust me, I'm a vet Cathy Woodman
It is a long time since I have read a book in a day. This chick lit was just the job. Light hearted romance, but rather funny. Likeable characters, predictable, but that isn't always a bad thing.
I am glad my reading mojo is coming back.
