I know it is the middle of Feb already, and I am late. Never mind, here they are.

1: Secret of the Sands Sara Sheridan

Great story and characters - and I liked the ending too. I found the setting very atmospheric, and I particularly liked the way women, and belly dancing were portrayed. Very interesting look at the culture.

2: The Invention of Murder Judith Flanders

Already one of the contenders for the best book I have read this year. Not only was this fascinating, but it was surprisingly funny too, Judith Flanders has a wonderful tongue-in-cheek tone at times, particularly in the footnotes. Most people who know me offline have had bits of this read out to them.

3: The Wee Free Men Terry Pratchett

I have no idea why I didn't get round to reading this sooner, it was so fun. I absolutely adore the Nac Mac Feegle.

4: A Hat Full of Sky Terry Pratchett

Pretty much the same as above, but with the addition that Pterry really understands the friendships of teen and pre-teen girls!
