Accessories workshop

Today Natalie ran a costume making workshop and there were several options of things to make. I opted for a shrug, to be made out of the same fabric as my ghawazee coat, as I have loads of this fabric. I also came away with a pattern for gauntlets, but I don't know if I will have enough of the cabaret fabric to make them - I should do, but it can wait.
The shrug was amazingly simple to make once I had a pattern, as it only needed hemming (and wouldn't need that in some fabrics) and then two seams up the side. I ended up using Natalie's machine, which is way better than mine, but I am still not best pleased with the stitching - but I will get better with practice.
Anyhow, here is the finished article

I do have to crack on and finish at least the cabaret costume next weekend, so I can do the beading workshop the one after
