Latin night tonight! Cha Cha Cha and Rhumba.
Tess' dress is better than last night's - I like the purple!
So, Erin is wearing feathers and little else, and Ola is wearing even less!
Jade & Ian - Cha Cha Cha
Do not like the yellow. Ian has his kit off already though ;) Not sure on the music, but the routine fits it well. Much better than last night. Len's criticism was constructive and deserved. I think Alesha is growing in confidence in her judging. 27 - very good. 52 overall.
Ali & Brian - Rhumba
Nice dress. Too soon for Rhumbas though. Having said that, this is good. Nice choice of music. Isn't posing and posturing the point of the Rumba though? Ali looks a bit overwhelmed - I hope she doesn't cave under the pressure. 30 - very good. 60 overall.
Lynda & Darren - Cha Cha Cha
I like her attitude. Go Lynda! Not sure on the dress - music great though. She's trying. Very stiff, from the grin down. Nice ending. Craig was actually nice! 23 - not bad. 44 overall.
Rav & Aliona - Rhumba
He looks very good in his shirt. Her dress is interesting ;) Not bad music choice. Think they are doing better than last night. I think this is easier for the blokes though, the woman does more posing. Quote of the night 'filth ridden gyrations' . Quite a range of scores. 22 - ok. 41 overall.
Chris & Ola - Rhumba
What is she nearly wearing? Very Ola. Nice music. I like this - more dancing. Rather brilliant from Craig! He has definitely taken over from Arlene on the hands though. Dancing Hobbits! Awww. 30 - very good. 56 overall.
Joe & Kristina - Cha Cha Cha
Not sure on the music. Or Kristina's outfit. Nor am I much sure this is better than last night. Does he have to add boxing-esque stuff? Rigor Mortis. Ouch. 16 - oh dear. 32 overall.
Martina & Matthew - Rhumba
Not sure on the dress, but love the purple. Music good. Martina is doing well. I liked this a lot more than some rhumbas. 24 -not bad. 46 overall. Alesha's 7 was like Len's!
Ricky & Erin - Cha Cha Cha
Fab feathers and fab music! Bet there are comments on him having his mouth open! I think he did quite well. Yes, there were comments on the mouth. I think Alesha is beginning to settle in a bit. 26 - not bad. 47 overall.
Only 15 mins to vote! I got through ok though
New girls dance
Shny! Two of my favourite blokes too. Great lifts! Great music - Here come the girls - had to be done! Enjoyed that very much.
Sweet Charity medly
I love show stoppers. Like the slidy bit! So much fab music :D James Jordan's hair gets worse though. This was fab, I loved it.
Tom & Camilla
Doing their winning routine :( Which I didn't like or vote for. Which made for more knitting time.
Kathryn Jenkins
Flavia looks fab! Wish we could see more dancing and less Kathryn.
Results/Dance off
Ali & Brian - oh good. Chris & Ola - phew. Ricky & Erin - no surprise. Jade & Ian - again, no surprise. Lynda & Darren - good. Joe & Kristina - oh no. Rav and Martina in the dance off. Hope it is Martina as she is better, but Rav was so much better than Joe :(
I think Martina has improved more than Rav . But oh no, they saved Rav! how could they! ::grump::
Sock update
I have done some more on the cuff, and next time I get to knit both sides of cuff together, which is a new technique for me - but this will mean I have a pretty picot edge at the top:
