Oh the John Sergeant thing
I don't think he should have gone. 'Rubbish' dancers have got to the final before (Chris Parker, Julian Clary), but in the end a decent dancer has always won. I think that the judges are forgetting that they start with beginners every season, and are expecting too much, too soon. I also think that they are forgetting that they can't tell people who to vote for. If they could, there would be no point in a public vote. I also find the way the judges have been talking about him since he left to be completely hypocritical.
Bruce's joke about the affair was very good.
Lisa & Brendan - Quickstep
Fantastic music. Very good dance. Lovely frock. Brendan showing off a bit though ;) Good comments. Great scores, considering she tripped over his foot.
Christine & Matthew - Cha Cha Cha
I quite like the dress. Those tights do nothing for her legs though. I really don't think this is that good. She is very led and unsure. I think the comments were fair, boos notwithstanding. I think Len is a bit overexcited though ;) No need for such vitriol either - I feel sorry for whoever is standing there when the judges do that. Low scores - sympathy vote/John transfer votes?
Jodie & Ian - Jive
ooooh, love the silver frock. Fab music choice. Tie think like Jill & Darren. Not fast enough possibly, but very good. Love the ending. 'Gargantuan' - not really. But Craig was otherwise nice. Yay for Len & Bruno! Yaya for mentioning constistent improvement Tess. 7! Craig & Arelene. Not on. Reasonable score.
Tom & Camilla - Tango
The music is class, but that dress is hideous. Great tango though. Not so keen on 'tango face'. Nice ending. Great scores!
Rachel & Vincent - Foxtrot
Rachel's friends are lovely, and the pink tutus are class. Class I tell you.
Lovely dress, lovely music, lovely dance. Perfect score. First one this season, and on the right dance :D
Austin & Erin - Cha Cha Cha
Erin's dress is fantastic, and I love this song! He's singing along :) Some bits are fantastic, some bits less so. Fantastic ending! More screaming. This really isn't fair to the competitiors. Ouch! Dislocated finger! Excellent scores.
John & Kristina - last waltz
Looks like it is going to be his best dance of the lot. Lovely choice of music. Awww, she looked like a music box dancer! Standing ovation from the audience. Love his comment about the judges. He made Kristina cry again. Awwww.
