Places to go, things to see

Chatting with
phonemonkey the other day, the World Heritage List came up in the conversation.
So, I have decided to see how many I have been to, and to try and see as many as I can (in my lifetime this is a long term goal)
I have been to:
The Historic Centre of Bruges/Brugge - and in fact am going there again this December.
Rila Monastery, Bulgaria - I would love to go here again though, as it has been a long time since I went.
The Historic Centre of Prague - I loved Prague, and want to go back
Aachen Cathedral - from the outside only, Sundays aren't the best day for Cathedral visiting.
Roman Monuments, and Cathedral/Church in Trier - I saw some of these on our last Christmas Markets holiday
Cologne Cathedral - both outside and in for this one!
Upper Middle Rhine Valley - more than once in this area, it is one of my favourite places to go
Historic Centre of Rome - still have much more to see here
Vatican City - again much more to see, especially a 'proper' go through the Vatican Museum
Historic Centre of Florence - again, go back, see more (there is a theme here)
Piazza del Duomo, Pisa - well if it doesn't require you to go in, I can tick this off ;) I have seen the leaning tower, but haven't been in the Cathedral
Historic Centre of San Gimignano - this has got be one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. Forget going back, I want to learn Italian and live here!
Historic Centre of Siena - I think this was where I had heatstroke ;)
Pompeii, Herculaneum, and Torre Annunziata - 1/3 of this, and barely begun Pompeii at that.
Valetta - but a looong time ago. It rained. A lot.
Durham Castle and Cathedral - another half a one, Cathedral only
City of Bath - and that is Bath, not Baarth ;) Quite fancy going back for a dip, when I can afford the new spa!
Frontiers of the Roman Empire - well I have seen the Hadrian's Wall bit
Old and New Towns of Edinburgh - oh yes, on that disastrous coach holiday ;)
Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew - I nearly got a job here
Liverpool - I have even been to Penny Lane!
21/878 (ish) - still some way to go!
Next on the list:
Town Houses by Victor Horta in Brussels - I may have seen these without realising, as I have been to Brussels a couple of times before.
Saltaire - it is so close to me, it would be disgraceful not to ;)
(why yes I am excessively bored on evening duty - I am also trying to think positive to get out of my funk)
