Thoughts on seeing the contestant list:

Cherie Lunghi and James Jordan - somehow I don't think they will win. Could be good to watch though

Andrew Castle and Ola Jordan - who now? (after reading the blurb I find he played tennis and now is on GMTV - no wonder I don't know who he is)

Christine Bleakley and Matthew Cutler - well she has kept that quiet on The One Show. I think they might do well.

Austin Healey and Erin Boag - I wonder if he will continue the tradition of rugby players doing well. Having Erin as his professional can only help.

Gillian Talyforth and Anton Du Beke  - poor Anton, he isn't ever going to win, is he?

Don Warrington and Lilia Kopylova  - again, who? ah an actor in things I have never seen

Heather Small and Brian Fortuna - well I know who she is, but this is the first of the new dancers. So I have no idea on this partnership.

Gary Rhodes and Karen Harvey - I hope they do well as I like both of these

Jessie Wallace and Darren Bennet  - well they could do well, not an Eastenders fan though

John Sargeant and Kristina Rihanhoff - well, he isn't going to win, but that is a shame. New dancer, so could be interesting.

Jodie Kidd and Ian Waite  - well it would have to be, for the height!

Mark Foster and Hayley Holt - I think he will find his height a disadvantage (despite Ian being so good), new dancer too.

Lisa Snowdon and Brendan Cole - I feel they have been set up to be the stroppy couple again

Phil Daniels and Flavia Cacace - well this could be interesting. Very different seeming people

Rachel Stevens and Vincent Simone - I have a feeling they could do quite well.

Tom Chambers and Camilla Dallerup  - apparently he is in Holby. Which I don't watch. Could be a good couple though


Well it is going to be interesting this year, with 2 more couples, and 3 new dancers (no Nicole Cutler this year, which isn't really surprising) - and I am wondering who will be dancing with who when the professionals perform.
