Study grrr and Ebay

I have just worked through the CD rom for the Principles of Information Retrival Module - and it isn't that much more helpful than the module itself, although the missing diagrams were there.

I got 60% on the test without doing the exercises, so I think I will manage ok.

I will look at it again when I have finished the cataloguing project I am doing this summer, so see how well it matches what I have learnt in practice.

As I have decided that:

1: I really need to get rid of a *lot* of stuff
2: I really need some extra cash

I am about to brave the world of Ebay selling  - wish me luck folks.

Now, I just have to be ruthless and decide what I can bear to part with ....

*glancing at the three boxes full of books that should not be here anymore*

Thanks

I haven't even dared think about the books yet, I will look at DVDs and clothes first ....

oh, they're not really *my* books... they're review copies that a publishing company a friend of mine works for got, rejected and she gave me to read... they're crap to be honest ;-)
My books... I'll have to be far more broke than this to sell them...

Well you can imagine how broke I am then!

Although the first things to go are likely to be the ones I had to buy for Uni and never wanted in the first place - easier to talk myself into parting with them

ah - uni books, those maybe maybe can be parted with ;-)

Good luck!
