April Books
14:Giovanni's Room James Baldwin [Kindle]
April's book group choice, and not one I enjoyed. Just too full of unpleasant people I didn't care about at all. An interesting view of post-WWII Paris though.
15: The Wintringham Mystery Anthony Berkley [Kindle]
April's read for the Shedunnit book group. I enjoyed this one, although there were rather too many co-incidences for it to be a really good mystery. Well for my liking anyway. I am a sucker for a happy ending, and I would like the couple in question to investigate more mysteries.
16: The Third Nero Lindsey Davis [Kindle]
I am so behind on the Flavia Albia series, I treated myself to this with the remains of a voucher I had - very good as usual. I do love the one liners & sarcasm.
17: The gifts of reading Robert Macfarlane
A birthday present from Rosie, and I wasn't expecting much, as I have previously tried to read Macfarlane and hated him, but this wasn't too bad. Still a bit on the pretentious side though.
18: Chivalry Neil Gaiman
Birthday present from Steph. A beautifully illustrated version of one of my favourite short stories. Enjoyed it so much.
