I only have about 4" of the never-ending baby blanket to do before I can cast off and knit the hood. I can't wait.

Also important qualities.
To be sure, none of the socks I make actually fit. They're oversized bedsocks for Himself, to keep his feet warm at night (which I guess means the honeymoon's over).

Not at all! It starts out with an attack on an unsuspecting warm body with the ice-feet, turns into "warm my feet" and then who knows...............?
Those of us cursed with poor circulation have learned to work the icy feet any way we can.
