27: The Other Boleyn Girl Philippa Gregory [Kindle]

This was the August book group, and it was good to re-read it. The history is wrong in places, but the characterisation is good, and I think it captures both the atmosphere of the court, and the everyday domestic side of life. There weren't many of us there, what with holidays etc, but we still had a good discussion

28: Home Advantage Ben Aaronovitch [Short Story]

Nice little short story, and very good for Aaronovitch to make it available free on his website. It maybe 1.5, but would fit in other places without too much trouble

29: Whispers Underground Ben Aaronovitch [Kindle]

Very good and funny, but also reminiscent of Neverwhere in places, particularly the market. I like the BTP officer, but still am not warming to Lesley.

30: Cold Earth Ann Cleeves [Kindle]

New Shetland mystery, loved the twist at the end. Liked the relationships between the characters too.

31: The Chosen Queen Joanna Courtney [Kindle]

Quite a good look at the period, spoiled it by revealing how many name changes at the end though. I did like Eadyth and Svana as characters though.
