I have been trying to improve the condition of my feet, by removing the hard skin etc. However, after last weeks blister episode I have been advised to toughen my feet up.

So, should I keep using the creams on my feet or not?

Well, what I've heard is that even callused feet get blisters, so hardening them won't really help that much. And there's the vanity factor - well maintained feet look so much better!

I would definitely keep up with your routine, Hazel. Even experienced marathon runners get blisters. No wonder we, mere mortals, do too :)

Thanks Katie.

The rest of the skin care is going well, I just am not used to looking after myself in this way. So I have no clue what to do a lot of the time

I think it's wonderful, Hazel. Taking care of your body and nurturing it is a great way to love and accept it as yours and unique and beautiful.

Don't think of it as a chore, but as a "date" with your body (I mean it in a spiritual sense, of course). Think of how your body works so hard for you and it deserves some pampering and gentle loving care. You will need it for loooong years to come :)

I have never thought of it that way, so thanks Katie - I will try to do that. I need to be a bit more accepting of me
