Heh. I have a cross-stitch I started for one of Mum's birthdays ending in "0". (She'd frown if I gave her away her actual age on LJ). Her most recent birthday ended in a "4", and I still haven't finished that piece for her...

You know how I did a kangaroo for my cousin's son? Well, it seems she's having another baby, so now I am agnoising over fairy penguin vs. possum vs. bilby vs. wombat...
A fairy penguin is a really tiny Australian native penguin. They're really cute.
If you go down to Melbourne, there's a little island off the coast (the name escapes me), and you can see the penguins come into land at night. It's a gorgeous sight.
