Twycross Zoo

Bryn and I stopped off at Twycross Zoo on the way back here on Sunday - it was very busy, but we still managed to see everything
The zoo isn't huge, which was good, as we were somewhat limited with time - it is mainly monkeys and chimps, which is fine by me.
I disturbed Bryn a little by squeeing over Marmosets - especially the loose ones we saw in the tropical house - but they have such dear little faces. I didn't get any photos of these, as my camera is rubbish and they are so fast. The Pygmy Marmosets were adorable too, but too small and far away for my zoom :(
I did take photos of other animals though
The obligatory Alpaca photo:

Vicuna:

Copybara:

Camel:

Giraffe:

Elephants (I am particularly chuffed with this photo):

A row of penguins:

A Scottish Wild Cat behaving like every domestic cat I have ever seen, and basking in the sun:

Lemurs (there were so many lemurs, all different kinds):

and finally, just showing us you can look dignified, even when sitting in a plastic crate:
