The wedding

I have locked this post, as I am not sure if these photos should be 'released' until the happy couple are back from honeymoon, as it were ....
The wedding was lovely. Harris Manchester has a lovely chapel (Burne Jones stained glass ::happy sigh::), and the minister seemed very nice, and his 'speeches' were both amusing and thought-provoking. The vows were unusual, but so very right for them - and very lovely. We sang a very unusual wording of Lord of the Dance - but again, one that fitted them.
I didn't take too many photos (too busy having a wonderful time and catching up with old friends - most of whom were barely recognisable in wedding-clothes instead of kit ;) )
However, there were some. Needless to say, for a re-enactors wedding, there were plenty of swords:

The cakes were cut in the 'traditional' manner, with scram and sword ;)

However, the bangers and mash supper was not served in the traditional manner, it was served by the bride and groom!

and I think we scrubbed up well ;)
